As it’s the Christmas season I’m writing about how live events change for live events. As you probably know there are more events during the Christmas season, with pantos and Christmas shows this can lead to more organising within the live events industry.
This year is different to other years because of Covid-19. Normally, the live events industry is bursting at the seams at this time of year with pantos, school shows, Christmas shows and more. Christmas live events are a great time for people who work in live sound to be noticed. This is because Venues employ people in to help with live sound. In addition, Christmas and live events means that more people are willing to have an experience with their families and friend. This usually ends up being shows and pantos.
However, because of COVID-19 there are many events that are not happening. Live Events aren’t happening but there are lots of places that are streaming online. This means that the way live events happen is changing. This includes having a reduced audience but streaming it onto YouTube or something similar.
In conclusion, having live events at Christmas is a great way to get into the live events industry. It’s a great way to have experience working with different people and equipment. Finally, the live events industry is a great way to be able to have fun.
