With the increase of vaccines being given out every day, there is a chance that some festivals are going ahead. Of course there are some festivals like Glastonbury that have cancelled the festival this year. However, some festival organisers are moving the festivals to August, this would give a chance for the the Covid curve to decrease. Of course with festivals happening in August there would be a limit on numbers, and you would have to have a good amount of hand sanitiser. In all with festivals it is looking up on the live events industry.
For My chosen career of live sound the roll out of Vaccines are a good thing. This is because the more people who are vaccinated the more likely festivals and music events can go on. I would definitely need to adapt to knowing how to do live sound and streaming it online. In addition it would mean that i am more employable.
